This historical fiction story is written for reluctant boy readers ages 8 to12, but is enjoyed by a much wider audience. The short chapters are easy to read and are followed by "Did You Know?" facts that build on the history of the early automobile.
Author Arthur, is a veteran 4th grade teacher who also has a passion for early automobiles. His extensive knowledge led him to write The Mud Hole and develop a traveling assembly to schools titled Wheels and Wonder. He is a frequent guest with Macomb Intermediate School District's "Author, Specialist, Knowledge" (ASK) program and has presented to schools across the state of Michigan.
